We had the apple bruschetta and lobster ragoon to start and the salmon and fairyisland shrimp pasta and we couldn't stop talking about how phenomenal the food was. Definitely try the apple bruschetta if you go!
Off the charts good. I’ve seen some bad reviews especially lately so I really wanted to weigh in. I had a great experience. I ordered the following.. Soft pretzel with beer cheese - Humongous and the cheese was great. Kiss on the Lips cocktail. - No complaints, just wish I’d ordered the Almond Joy after a taste of my sister’s. Buffalo Chicken personal pizza - Amazing, truly. The sauce was not too hot to overpower the taste of the chicken or mozzarella. The crust was not so thin to be crunchy and the portion size was just right for me. Side of Fries - Crispy with a soft interior. We had a party of 7 and did not experience wait time even with a majority of the tables filled. We were actually impressed. Based on my experience I would recommend this restaurant, it’s at the least worth a try!
My wife and I had one of the best meals that you could eat in Alexandria Bay! All of the staff had awesome personalities, and exceeded our expectations! Our seafood and steak was cooked to absolute perfection! The flavors were out of this world!!! There is a chance that you have to wait a bit longer, but that wait is well more than worth it!!! Such and awesome experience, and the cherry on top of our experience in the 1000 islands!!!
From the drinks and appetizers to the meal and atmosphere, this little family owned red is doing everything right. So very satisfied with my experience here. Might have just become my husband and my’s new favorite local spot.
Absolutely loved this place! Came to Alexandria to explore and this restaurants charm was exactly our vibe! Wonderful multi level outdoor seating with live music, the staff was extremely attentive, and the food was delicious. Both of us were raving about what we got and how picturesque of a night it was. Everyone who was eating there was lively and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Even the musician was having fun banter back and forth with different tables, taking requests and asking questions. Couldn’t have had a better night if we tried!
Stopped by on Friday May 17th for a bite to eat while in Alex Bay for the evening. Marlee, the hostess, was extremely helpful and directed me to the bar where I looked over their extensive and eclectic menu. I chose a draft beer from Township 7 brewing, a somewhat local upstate NY brewery I'd heard of before. The beer was slightly fruity and refreshing with a hint of hops. For food, I was intrigued by the Calamari Schnitzel panini sandwich. After only a few minutes after placing my order, my food arrived! The bread was warm and soft with the perfect toast, and the lemon aioli brought a bright freshness to the simultaneously crispy and tender calamari steak. I was not disappointed and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fried seafood or has an adventurous palate. I also ordered the Duck Nachos to go. They were delicious, but I would have liked a few more of the home made chips that based the dish, because they were absolutely divine. Also, they had some very nice live acoustic guitar which set the perfect relaxed mood! Check it out!
Very friendly service. Fantastic food! Nice ambiance seated along the walkway. The lobster BLT Tacos are amazing! The Dark Island Panini (prime rib, caramelized onions and mushrooms, worth the return for round two! Pic of our nice and casual early lunch.
My husband and I ate there last night. We enjoyed the outdoor dining and ambiance. The lobster dip and chips were so yummy! We both ordered a fish sandwich. I especially loved the tartar sauce but honestly the fish itself didn't have much taste. It wasn't bad but it could've been better. Overall I would still recommend and would stop go back to try other items in the menu. Service was wonderful! We felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer.
